FAST FERRY SURVEY Please submit your responses no later than
May 4, 2001
Dear Rochester Area Business leaders:
The Greater Rochester Metro Chamber of Commerce and the Industrial
Management Council were recently asked by Canadian American Transportation
Systems (CATS) to conduct a brief survey to gauge local attitudes from the
business community on the proposed Fast Ferry project. Their proposal is
for a fast-ferry service traveling between Rochester and Toronto. The
ferry would be a new vessel able to accommodate up to 750 passengers and
175 cars.
Please take a moment to fill out the survey below. It should be
completed by an individual familiar with your company's business travel
trips (exclusive of freight) between the United States and Canada. If you
are not currently doing business in Canada, or if your business plan does
not include expansion into Canada in the next 12 months, no response is
necessary. The deadline to respond is May 4, 2001.
Thank you in advance for your support in this process.
Sincerely,
Thomas T. Mooney President Greater Rochester Metro
Chamber of Commerce |
Sandra A. Parker President Industrial Management
Council |
